Pengaruh Komunikasi Dan Motivasi Orangtua Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Kelas X SMA Cinta Budaya Medan Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of economic learning achievement. The purpose of this research is to know: 1) the influence of parental communication on the achievement of economic learning, 2) the influence of parental motivation on the achievement of economic learning, 3) the influence of communication and parental motivation on student achievement on the subjects of economy class X SMA Cinta Budaya Budaya Medan academic year 2016 / 2017. The sample in this study were 40 students. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. This research is Expost Facto research, where to get research data used questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique is to use multiple linear regression and to test the hypothesis by using t-test and f-test by using SPSS Version 20.00 program. The results of the data analysis obtained multiple regression equation is Y = 20,045 + 0,384 X1 + 0,354 X2 + e. The result of t-test is obtained tct = 7,875 with significant level 0.000 <0,05 for hypothesis 1 and for hypothesis 2 obtained tct = 5,161 with significant level 0,000 <0,05. While hypothesis testing simultaneously obtained Fhitung = 95,099 with significant level 0,000 <0,05. The result of determination test from R2 is 0,837. The result of this research can be concluded that: 1) there are positive and significant influence of parent communication to the learning achievement of the economy, 2) there is positive and significant influence of parent's motivation toward economic learning achievement; 3) there is positive and significant influence between communication and parental motivation toward student achievement On the subjects of economics class X SMA Cinta Budaya Budaya Year 2016/2017.
