PENGARUH MINAT MENJADI GURU DAN PRAKTIK PROGRAM PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN (PPL) TERHADAP KESIAPAN MENJADI GURU PADA MAHASISWA JURUSAN EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN T.A 2017/2018

Abstract


The problem in this research is still lack of readiness of students majoring in economic education to become teachers. This research aims to determine (1) Influence of Interests to Teachers to Readiness to be a Master in the Students of Economic Education Faculty of Economics, State University of Medan T.A 2017/2018; This research was conducted at State University of Medan located at Willem Iskandar Street Pasar V.This type of research is expost facto. The population in this study is 251 students. A sample of 146 with proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are documentation and questionnaires. Before the questionnaire is used first. From the test results obtained that the questionnaire is valid and reliable. Then the data collected from the anget results are then analyzed using multiple linear regression.From the analysis results obtained that both partially and simultaneously independent variables (interest to be teachers and practice of field experience program (PPL) have a positive and significant impact on the readiness to become a teacher at the students of Department of Economic Education State University of Medan T.A 2017/2018. with tcount> ttable where result of t test on interest variable become teacher (X1) equal 2,896 bigger than ttabel equal to 1,976 and at variable of Practice Program of Field Experience (PPL) (X2) obtained tcount equal to 6,487 bigger than ttable equal to 1,976, and F test results show the value of Fcount> Ftable (43,447> 3,06).
