DOKUMENTASI TOR-TOR SIMALUNGUN SEBAGAI LITERASI BUDAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan menginformasikan kesenian Simalungun khususnya Tor-tor Sirittak Hotang dan Tor-tor Dihar Natar sebagai literasi budaya. Penulis menggunakan teori dokumentasi milik Sugiyono (2018: 476), teori Tor-tor milik Harvina (2018; 1), dan teori literasi budaya milik Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (2017: 3). Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Sanggar Tor-tor Elak-elak Simalungun yang terletak di desa Sirpang Dalig Raya, Kecamatan Raya, Kabupaten Simalungun. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan dokumentasi berbentuk arsip tulisan yang dilengkapi dengan audio visual (VCD), yang di dalamnya mendeskripsikan asal mula, terminologi gerak, pola lantai, dancescript gerak, iringan dan alat musik, serta tata rias dan busana pada Tor-tor Sirittak Hotang dan Tor-tor Dihar Natar.Downloads
