TINJAUAN POLA RETAK TERHADAP KONTRIBUSI LEMBARAN CARBON FIBER STRIP DI PASANG VERTIKAL PADA BALOK LANGSING
Abstract
This research study was conducted to determine and study the pattern of cracks that occur on beams if given reinforcement with carbon fiber sheets. This study used a cylindrical specimen of concrete and reinforced concrete beams with shear reinforcement which is the practical reinforcement (smaller than the minimum reinforcement requirements), it is done so in a weak beam resisting shear. Tests performed after the beam reinforced beams 28 days old. The tools used are Jack Hydraulic capacity of 25 tons. Test beam will be concentrated load P and the subsequent load is increased gradually. During loading lasts noted and recorded the onset of crack and crack patterns. Crack pattern that occurs is cracked bending, bending-shear crack and crack appendage. From the pattern of cracks that occur shows that retrofitting with FRP sheets can change the pattern of cracks in concrete beams.
