Abstract


This research aims to know major  reasoning contribution to the achievement learn physics, to know the contribution of creativity to the achievement learn physics, and to know major reasoning contribution and creativity students to the achievement learn physics. Population in this research is all students class XI semester I in MAN 2 Medan Academic Year 2004/2005 which amounted to 2 classes. Samples were taken from all population (2 classes) with the number of 90 student. Reasoning and creativity of student data captured through the questionnaire, studied physics student achievement data obtained from test results subject of static electricity. To know how big contribution to achievement of reasoning and creativity of students studying physics views of the value of the correlation coefficient between these variables. To see the relationship between reasoning and creativity and the learning achievement of physics used linear regression equation. Results were obtained: positive and significant influence on the academic achievement of students reasoning physics correlation coefficient of 0.825. Contribute to the achievement of reasoning physics found 68.1%. Relationship with academic achievement physics reasoning can be expressed with simple , there is a positive1linear regression equation Y = 0.47 + 0.85 X  influence on student creativity and meaningful learning achievement physics with correlation coefficient of o, 790. Creative contribution to the academic achievement of students is 62.4%. Relation creativity with academic achievement of physics can be expressed with simple linear regression equation Y = 0.17 + 0.25 X2, and there was a positive influence and means of reasoning and creativity of students toward academic achievement physics with correlation coefficient of 0.869. Effect of reasoning and creativity of students toward academic achievement of physics found 75.5%. Relations reasoning and creativity premises physics learning achievement can be expressed by the  Y = -4.35 + 0.25X1 + 0.25X2
