Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning Model (PBL) on student learning outcomes on the subject matter of work and energy of 10th Graders even semester at Budi Murni 3 High School Medan, school year 2022/2023. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The population in the study were all students of 10th Science Grade Budi Murni 3 High School Medan, school year 2022/2023. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choices. In testing the normality and homogeneity of post-test data, it was found that the data of the two classes were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the posttest t test showed that tcount> ttable (3.57 > 1.671) then Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an effect of Problem Based Learning Model (PBL) on student learning outcomes on the subject matter of work and energy of 10th Graders even semester at Budi Murni 3 High School Medan, school year 2022/2023.
