This study aimed to develop a QuizWhizzer-based digital worksheet for teaching reading descriptive text to seventh grade students at MTsN 2 Medan. This study applied Research and Development (R&D) adapted from Borg and Gall’s model. The data were collected through students’ needs analysis questionnaires, teacher interviews, and expert validation. The participants were one English teacher, 30 seventh grade students, and two experts. The development process consisted of six stages. First, gathering data and information through interviews and questionnaires. Second, analyzing needs analysis data to identify students’ needs, necessities, lacks, and wants. Third, designing the QuizWhizzer-based digital worksheet on descriptive text materials. Fourth, validating the product by two experts. Fifth, revising the product based on the experts’ suggestions. Lastly, finalizing the product. The results showed that students had difficulties in vocabulary, main ideas, and detailed information, and needed more interactive learning media. The first expert’s validation score was 85% and the second expert’s validation score was 82%, both categorized as “Very Good”. The final worksheet integrated descriptive texts, supporting pictures, game-board features, varied exercises, and immediate feedback, and was considered feasible and suitable for teaching reading descriptive text and could support a more interactive learning process.
