Dampak Strict Parents terhadap Kecemasan Akademik dan Sosial Mahasiswa Generasi Z

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak pola asuh strict parents terhadap kecemasan akademik dan sosial pada mahasiswa generasi Z, serta menelaah perbedaan nilai antar-generasi antara orang tua dan anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan partisipan empat mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan dan universitas yang dibesarkan dalam pola asuh otoriter. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontrol ketat, tuntutan prestasi tinggi, serta komunikasi emosional yang minim menyebabkan kecemasan akademik dan sosial yang signifikan, terutama pada situasi evaluatif seperti ujian, presentasi, dan interaksi sosial. Selain itu, ditemukan adanya perbedaan nilai antar-generasi yaitu orang tua dari generasi boomers dan X masih memegang nilai tradisional berupa disiplin dan kepatuhan, sedangkan anak generasi Z menekankan keseimbangan emosional dan kesehatan mental. Perbedaan nilai ini berpengaruh terhadap pola komunikasi dan munculnya tekanan psikologis pada anak.References
