Eksplorasi Peran Dukungan Teman Sebaya dalam Psychological Well-Being Santriwati Luar Jawa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran dukungan sosial teman sebaya dalam psychological well-being pada santriwati luar Jawa di pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi transendental untuk memahami pengalaman hidup partisipan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap empat santriwati berusia 16–18 tahun yang telah tinggal di pesantren minimal enam bulan. Analisis data menggunakan Tahapan Fenomenologi transendental Moustakas (1994), yaitu meliputi epoche, horizontalization, reduction and elimination, clustering of meaning, textural description, structural description, dan essence dengan bantuan perangkat lunak NVivo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial teman sebaya berperan sebagai sistem dukungan emosional utama yang membantu santriwati menghadapi perbedaan budaya, hambatan bahasa, serta perasaan keterasingan. Relasi teman sebaya memberikan rasa aman, motivasi, serta perasaan diterima yang berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Selain itu, santriwati juga mengalami pertumbuhan pribadi, peningkatan kemandirian, serta kemampuan adaptasi sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan teman sebaya menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga psychological well-being santriwati dalam lingkungan pesantren multikultural.
