Pengaruh Penggunaan Perplexity Berbasis AI terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Siswa SMA

Rendahnya hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas XI SMAS Primbana Medan akibat dominasi pembelajaran konvensional melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan platform Perplexity berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. Metode kuantitatif dengan quasi-experimental design (two-group design) diterapkan pada 57 siswa kelas XI (23 kelas eksperimen dan 34 kelas kontrol) yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling di SMAS Primbana Medan pada Januari–Maret T.A. 2025/2026. Alur penelitian meliputi tahap persiapan instrumen, pelaksanaan (pre-test, perlakuan media Perplexity AI vs. konvensional), dan evaluasi (post-test). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda tervalidasi dan dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, uji prasyarat, regresi linear sederhana (uji-t), serta N-Gain. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen (17,48) lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (12,82). Persamaan regresi Y=6,979+0,754X menghasilkan thitung =3,148 dan signifikansi 0,005<0,05, serta rata-rata N-Gain eksperimen (10,563) mengungguli kontrol (6,127). Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Perplexity berbasis AI berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi. Pendidik direkomendasikan mengintegrasikan platform AI interaktif guna merancang pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa.
