Pengaruh Penggunaan Perplexity Berbasis AI terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Siswa di SMAS Primbana Medan

Penelitian quasi-experiment dengan desain dua kelompok ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Perplexity berbasis AI terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas XI SMAS Primbana Medan T.A 2025/2026. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa akibat pembelajaran konvensional, minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi, dan rendahnya keaktifan belajar. Melalui teknik purposive sampling, terpilih sampel sebanyak 23 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 34 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda yang divalidasi oleh tiga validator, dengan teknik pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 17,48, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 12,82. Berdasarkan uji regresi linear sederhana, diperoleh persamaan $Y = 6,979 + 0,754X$ dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005 < 0,05, yang membuktikan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari media tersebut. Selain itu, rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen mencapai 10,563, mengungguli kelas kontrol yang hanya sebesar 6,127. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Perplexity berbasis AI berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa.
