Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas upaya untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika pada materi keliling bangun datar siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Pasuruhan 03 yang masih rendah, dengan ketuntasan klasikal hanya 22,22% dan nilai rata-rata 66,78 di bawah KKM 75. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) yang dibantu media Pop-Up. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (CAR) model Kemmis & McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana masing-masing siklus terdiri atas dua pertemuan, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 9 siswa kelas 5. Data dikumpulkan dari kuesioner, dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, dan tes dengan tingkat keberhasilan minimal 75% siswa mencapai KKM. Hasil penelitian membuktikan peningkatan yang signifikan: dari ketuntasan pra-siklus hanya 22,22%; Siklus I meningkat menjadi 66,67% dengan rata-rata 79,44, aktivitas guru 75,86% (baik), dan aktivitas siswa 68% (baik); Siklus II mencapai ketuntasan 100% dengan rata-rata 86,1, aktivitas guru 89,66% (sangat baik), dan aktivitas siswa 82,8% (sangat baik). Kesimpulannya, model PBL yang dibantu media Pop-Up efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar keliling bangun datar siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar. Disarankan agar guru menerapkan model ini sebagai alternatif pembelajaran matematika inovatif.
