Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Komik Pada Pembelajaran IPAS Kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar

Pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV di UPT SD Negeri 067242 Medan Sunggal masih mengandalkan ceramah, buku paket, dan media cetak sederhana sehingga siswa kurang aktif dan kesulitan memahami materi Keberagaman Budaya Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis komik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan alur model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) pada Tahun Pembelajaran 2025/2026. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 067242 Medan Sunggal dan 15 siswa UPT SD Negeri 067243 Medan Selayang sebagai kelas uji coba. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, lembar validasi ahli, angket respons siswa dan guru, serta pre-test dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan dengan N-Gain Score. Hasilnya, media dinyatakan valid berdasarkan validasi ahli media (90,5%), materi (81,5%), modul ajar (83,33%), dan instrumen tes (94%). Media juga praktis berdasarkan respons siswa (85,60%) dan guru (75,00%), serta efektif karena rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 46,61 menjadi 84,82 dengan N-Gain Score 72,05% (tinggi). Dengan demikian, media komik layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan melibatkan kelas kontrol dan sampel yang lebih besar.
