Hubungan Antara Minat Membaca dengan Linguistic Intelligence Siswa melalui Media Evaluasi Baamboozle dalam Pembelajaran IPAS SD

Kemampuan berbahasa berperan penting dalam pembelajaran IPAS, namun evaluasi konvensional di kelas V SDN 86 Singkawang belum banyak memberi ruang bagi siswa menunjukkan kemampuan berbahasanya, sehingga hubungan antara minat membaca dan linguistic intelligence melalui evaluasi berbasis permainan digital Baamboozle menarik dikaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan minat membaca dengan linguistic intelligence siswa melalui media evaluasi Baamboozle dalam pembelajaran IPAS SD. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan 28 siswa kelas V yang dipilih secara purposive sampling sebagai subjek, dilaksanakan di SDN 86 Singkawang pada semester berjalan. Alur penelitian meliputi penyampaian materi IPAS, evaluasi menggunakan Baamboozle, pengisian angket, dan analisis data secara statistik. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket minat membaca (16 butir) dan angket linguistic intelligence (15 butir) berskala Likert yang valid dan reliabel, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, linearitas, dan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil menunjukkan minat membaca (M=73,77) dan linguistic intelligence (M=77,65) berkategori tinggi, namun korelasi keduanya sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan (r=0,064; p=0,641>0,05; r²=0,004 atau 0,4%). Disimpulkan bahwa minat membaca bukan faktor dominan bagi linguistic intelligence, sehingga direkomendasikan pemaduan Baamboozle dengan aktivitas berpikir tingkat tinggi, diskusi, dan penulisan reflektif pada penelitian selanjutnya.
