Abstract

Ketidaksantunan berbahasa pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama berasrama sering muncul sebagai respons verbal otomatis akibat kebiasaan berulang pada lingkungan dengan pengawasan longgar; studi pendahuluan di SMP A menemukan bahwa sekitar setengah dari 50 siswa pernah menggunakan bahasa kasar dan memperoleh teguran guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pola ketidaksantunan berbahasa siswa, menganalisis implementasi konseling Islam dengan teknik muhasabah dan restrukturisasi kognitif, mengidentifikasi perubahan perilaku setelah layanan diberikan, serta merumuskan implikasi program lanjutan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek satu guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, satu wali asrama, dan dua siswa berpengalaman ketidaksantunan berbahasa, dilaksanakan di SMP A pada Juni 2026 melalui empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, pengumpulan data, analisis, dan verifikasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan simpulan, dan verifikasi dengan triangulasi metode dan sumber. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konseling melalui rapport, kesadaran, restrukturisasi bermakna spiritual, self-monitoring, dan circle time mendorong penurunan frekuensi bahasa kasar, meski perubahan tidak seragam antarsiswa. Penelitian menyimpulkan integrasi kognitif-spiritual efektif memperkuat regulasi diri berbahasa dan merekomendasikan program muhasabah berkelanjutan serta pelibatan lingkungan asrama secara konsisten.
