Eksplorasi Proses Berpikir Klasifikasi Siswa Kelas I Ditinjau dari Tingkat Kemampuan Menggunakan Kartu Bergambar

Klasifikasi merupakan aktivitas matematis awal yang umumnya dinilai dari ketepatan hasil sehingga proses berpikirnya belum terungkap. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi proses berpikir klasifikasi siswa kelas I melalui aktivitas manipulatif berbasis kartu bergambar serta mendeskripsikan perbedaannya berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan. Penelitian kualitatif berdesain studi kasus ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Bakalan 03, Sukoharjo, pada Juli 2026 dengan aktivitas inti 28 Juli 2026. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas sembilan siswa kelas I, dengan tiga siswa fokus berkemampuan rendah, sedang, dan tinggi yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Alur penelitian meliputi persiapan, validasi instrumen, pelaksanaan aktivitas, serta wawancara dan analisis data. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi sebelas indikator dan wawancara, dengan keabsahan melalui triangulasi teknik, kemudian dianalisis melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan jumlah skor 23, 34, dan 44 dari 44 berturut-turut pada siswa berkemampuan rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Perbedaan terbesar pada penggunaan lebih dari satu kriteria dan strategi alternatif dengan rentang skor 1–4, sedangkan perbedaan terkecil pada pengamatan kartu dan keterlibatan dengan rentang 3–4. Kartu bergambar melibatkan seluruh tingkat kemampuan meskipun kedalaman prosesnya berbeda. Guru direkomendasikan membedakan pertanyaan pancingan sesuai tingkat kemampuan siswa.
