Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Zep Quiz terhadap Ketepatan Struktur Kebahasaan dalam Menulis Teks Eksposisi Siswa SMK

Siswa SMK masih mengalami kesulitan menulis teks eksposisi sesuai struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan, ditunjukkan oleh hasil observasi awal dengan nilai rata-rata 62,48. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas media Zep Quiz terhadap ketepatan struktur kebahasaan dalam menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMK Telkom 1 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen desain Posttest Only Control Group Design, dilaksanakan di SMK Telkom 1 Medan, Kota Medan, pada Oktober 2025 sampai April 2026. Subjek penelitian adalah kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, masing-masing 30 siswa, melalui alur penentuan populasi dan sampel, pemberian perlakuan, posttest, hingga pengolahan data. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol 53,16 dan kelas eksperimen 78,33, dengan thitung 9,87 lebih besar daripada ttabel 2,002 (α = 0,05; dk = 58), sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa Zep Quiz efektif meningkatkan ketepatan struktur kebahasaan menulis teks eksposisi, sehingga direkomendasikan bagi guru sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran interaktif dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk memperluas sampel serta keterampilan berbahasa lain.
