Implementasi Data BMKG dalam Pembelajaran Geografi Pada Materi Atmosfer dan Iklim di SMA

Materi atmosfer dan iklim memuat banyak konsep abstrak yang sulit diamati langsung, sementara pemanfaatan data BMKG dalam pembelajaran geografi belum banyak terdokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pemanfaatan data BMKG dalam pembelajaran geografi materi atmosfer dan iklim. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi dokumentasi dengan subjek dokumen pembelajaran kelas X-4, X-7, dan X-9 SMA Negeri 7 Semarang pada Februari–Mei 2025. Alur penelitian meliputi observasi awal, pengumpulan dan seleksi dokumen, analisis data, triangulasi sumber, serta analisis nilai. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi dan dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, dilengkapi paired sample t-test dan Cohen's d terhadap nilai tugas dan Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS). Hasil menunjukkan data BMKG terintegrasi dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penugasan, dan evaluasi. Rata-rata nilai tugas (83,40–89,83) dan PTS (86,00–90,58) melampaui KKM 75 dengan ketuntasan 96,26%. Perbedaan nilai tugas dan PTS tidak signifikan (p = 0,121–0,885) dengan ukuran efek kecil hingga sangat kecil (d = −0,269 hingga −0,024). Data BMKG dapat diintegrasikan sebagai sumber data autentik, meskipun pengaruh kausalnya terhadap hasil belajar belum dapat disimpulkan. Guru disarankan memanfaatkan data iklim historis BMKG, dan penelitian selanjutnya menggunakan desain pretest-posttest.
