Abstract

The natural disaster in Tukka District caused total isolation in Hutanabolon and Huraba Villages, cutting off transportation access and logistics supplies. This community service aims to analyze the implementation of emergency logistics distribution management to meet the basic needs of the affected community. Through a descriptive qualitative method with a rapid assessment approach and participatory observation, the team coordinated cross-sectorally with the village government and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) to distribute nutritious food packages and housing equipment for 400 households. The results showed that integrated logistics management through accurate assessment stages, appropriate procurement, and safe distribution successfully prevented food insecurity, effectively reached vulnerable groups, and restored the basic socio-economic functions of residents during the emergency response period. The success of this distribution was also strengthened by the social cohesion of the residents who worked together amidst limitations. It is recommended that this cross-sectoral coordination model be integrated into regional disaster mitigation policies for more structured crisis management in the future.
