PERBANDINGAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA YANG DIAJAR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH DENGAN MEDIA KARTU SOAL PADA MATERI TEOREMA PYTHAGORAS
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model Discovery Learning dengan media kartu soal, pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match dengan media kartu soal, dan pembelajaran konvensional pada materi teorema pythagoras. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan yang berjumlah 324 siswa. Pengambilan sampel secara acak terambil 3 kelas dari 9 kelas. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model Discovery Learning dengan media kartu soal lebih baik daripada kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yag diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match dan pembelajaran Konvensional pada materi Teorema Pythagoras.

ABSTRACT
The study aims to determine whether there were differences in students' critical thinking abilities in mathematics taught with the Discovery Learning model with the question card media, Make A Match type cooperative learning with the question card media, and conventional learning on the Pythagorean theorem material. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research population of all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan, amounting to 324 students. Random sampling was selected 3 classes from 9 classes. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the students 'mathematical critical thinking skills taught by the Discovery Learning model with the question card media are better than the students' critical thinking abilities of mathematics taught with the Make A Match cooperative learning model and Conventional learning on the Pythagorean Theorem material.
