Kajian Literatur Metode Statistik Deskriptif Pada Evaluasi Kinerja Atlet Profesional

Evaluasi kinerja atlet profesional merupakan bagian penting dalam pembinaan olahraga modern yang membutuhkan pendekatan berbasis data agar pengambilan keputusan dapat dilakukan secara objektif dan sistematis. Salah satu metode yang banyak digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif, yang berfungsi untuk menyajikan dan menginterpretasikan data performa atlet secara sederhana namun informatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan metode statistik deskriptif dalam evaluasi kinerja atlet profesional melalui pendekatan studi literatur (literature review). Sebanyak 30 artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 2017–2026 dianalisis secara deskriptif-komparatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa statistik deskriptif berperan penting dalam meningkatkan objektivitas evaluasi, memantau perkembangan performa, menilai konsistensi hasil kompetisi, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Selain itu, statistik deskriptif menjadi fondasi utama dalam pengolahan data dari teknologi olahraga modern, seperti wearable devices dan sensor digital. Meskipun memiliki keterbatasan dalam menjelaskan hubungan sebab-akibat, metode ini tetap menjadi pendekatan dasar yang relevan dalam evaluasi performa atlet.
