Jurnal ini menjadi media komunikasi ilmiah berkelanjutan yang memuat hasil penelitian terbaru terkait pendidikan teknologi dan kejuruan, pengembangan model pembelajaran, teknologi digital dalam pendidikan, lingkungan belajar inovatif, pembelajaran adaptif, pembelajaran berbasis permainan (gamified learning), serta hasil-hasil penelitian di bidang pendidikan teknologi dan kejuruan.
MBT: Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan menyediakan akses terbuka (open access) secara langsung terhadap seluruh kontennya, dengan prinsip bahwa ketersediaan penelitian secara bebas kepada publik akan mendukung pertukaran pengetahuan secara global.

The Journal of Vocational Education and Technology is published by the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Medan, which is an information media and a forum for the academic community in informing various scientific works of research results, ideas / concepts and vocational education policies. The Journal of Vocational Education and Technology accepts original writings that have never been published in other journals. Articles to be published will be evaluated by the editorial team and bestary partners. The editorial team has the right to make changes to the writing but not to change the meaning of the writing. Articles submitted must follow the established style. Vocational Education and Technology is published periodically 2 times a year.
