PENGELOLAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TGT DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR IPS KELAS VII-5 SMP NEGERI 3 PERCUT SEI TUAN

Abstract: Management of Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Learning Motivation TGT IPS In Class VII-5 SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan. This study aims to determine how the implementation of cooperative learning model TGT type in improving student motivation .. The research process was conducted in two cycles each of 4 meetings. The results showed an increase in students' motivation high motivation of 16.67% with a mean achievement 43.99% of indicators of motivation to learn in the initial observation, increasing became 33.33% with the average achievement of 46.40% at mid-cycle I and became 61.11% with the average achievement of 69.62% at the end I. in the mid-cycle second cycle students who are highly motivated rose to 80.56% with the average achievement of 75.09%, and at the end of the cycle II reached 91.67% with a mean of 80.99% achievement of indicators of students' motivation.

Abstrak : Pengelolaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar IPS Di Kelas VII-5 SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.. Proses penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus masing-masing 4 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa yang bermotivasi tinggi dari 16.67% dengan rerata capaian 43.99% dari indikator motivasi belajar pada observasi awal, meningkatan menjadi 33.33% dengan rerata capaian 46.40% pada pertengahan siklus I dan menjadi 61.11% dengan rerata capaian 69.62% pada akhir siklus I. Pada pertengahan siklus II siswa yang bermotivasi tinggi naik mencapai 80.56% dengan rerata capaian 75.09%, dan di akhir siklus II mencapai 91,67% dengan rerata capaian 80.99% dari indikator motivasi belajar siswa.
