Puteri Hijau: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah was first published in 2016 (p-ISSN:2460-5786) by the Department of History Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Medan. At that time, this journal was published twice a year, in January and July. In 2016, Puteri Hijau: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah began to be published online (e-ISSN: 2684-9607).
