QUALITY OF WORK LIFE, MOTIVASI KERJA OTONOM, DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERKENDALI

Abstract


A company in achieving its goals needs employees who have the drive (motivation) to use their abilities to work independently and responsibly. Work motivation can be driven by work life by providing satisfactory and prosperous working conditions or quality of work life in a job. This research aimed to determine the effect of quality of work life on two types of work motivation, namely autonomous work motivation and controlled work motivation. The research method used is non-experimental quantitative. Research participants were 56 employees of an outsourcing company. Data collection was carried out by providing a quality of work life measurement tool adapted from Timossi and a work motivation measurement tool adapted from The Motivation at Work Scale (MAWS). The data was analyzed through simple linear regression test. The results of the research showedthat the quality of work life has an effect on the autonomous work motivation of outsourcing company employees and the quality of work life has an effect on the controlled work motivation of outsourcing company employees.
