Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Biosains undergoes a rigorous, double-blind peer review process, with the identities of authors and reviewers kept confidential to ensure objectivity.
The process begins with a pre-qualification assessment by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board. Qualified manuscripts are then checked for originality to prevent plagiarism. Next, two expert reviewers appointed by the editorial board will thoroughly evaluate the manuscript and provide their recommendations.
Based on the reviewers' input, the Editor-in-Chief will make a decision: accept, reject, or require revision. If revisions are necessary, authors will receive anonymous comments to guide them. Revised manuscripts will be reviewed again by the Editorial Board before a final decision is made at a board meeting. The final decision may be: reject, major revision, minor revision, or acceptance.
Ultimately, authors whose manuscripts are accepted will receive an official acceptance letter along with a printed copy.
