Implementasi Appreciative Inquiry dalam Perencanaan Strategis untuk Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


Peningkatan mutu sekolah perlu perencanaan strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Appreciative Inquiry dalam perencanaan strategis untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pada Sekolah Dasar. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, para guru dan pengurus Yayasan. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan studi dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari: reduksi data, penyajian data, triangulasi sumber, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian: 1) Perencanaaan strategis memiliki peran penting dalam memberi arah dan petunjuk untuk mencapai visi dan misi sekolah; 2) Implementasi Appreciative Inquiry memberi paradigma baru dalam penyusunan strategi berdasarkan potensi, kekuatan serta sumber daya yang ada untuk meraih masa depan yang lebih baik; 3) Appreciative Inquiry mendorong setiap individu untuk berkontribusi pada organisasinya sesuai dengan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki.
