Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts must be original, have never been published in other journals, and the editorial team has the right to edit the writing without the author's permission. The manuscript is written with the following conditions:
a) Manuscripts must be typed in Ms Word.
b) The manuscript is accompanied by an abstract (in Indonesian / English) typed in Times New Roman theme font size 10, 1 space, not exceeding 250 words and accompanied by keywords that can be used for search.
c) Manuscripts must be received by the editorial staff in hard copy to the editor's address (Department of Educational Psychology and Guidance, FIP, State University of Medan Jl. Willem Iskandar Psr V Medan Estate KP. 20221 Tlp / Fax 061-6636753) and soft copy via email miswanto16061988 @ gmail.com.
d) The manuscript is typed with the theme font Times New Roman, size 12 with 1.5 spaces on A4 paper, a maximum of 15 pages with a page set up to two columns.
e) Article is a report on the results of original research in the field of psychology and / or counseling arranged in the following order: Title, author's name along with email address and author's agency, Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Closing contains Conclusions and Suggestions, Bibliography.
f) Quotations and units of measurement results must be adapted to the international system
g) Literature review contains review articles on all aspects of psychology and counseling based on the latest literature. The contents of the article are arranged in order: Title, author's name along with email address and author's agency, Abstract, Introduction, Discussion, Closing contains Conclusions and Suggestions, Bibliography.
h) Tables, graphs, figures and charts are given numerical order, such as: table 1, etc .; picture 1 etc .; graph 1, etc .; as well as chart 1, etc. The title of the table and graph is placed on top of the table or graph, while the title of the image and chart is placed under the image or chart, using the Times New Roman theme font size 10, space 1.
i) References written in the bibliography are only references cited in the text of the article. Bibliography typed with space 1 and compiled based on applicable provisions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
