PENERAPAN METODE TALKING STICK PADA PEMBELAJARAN APRESIASI SENI TARI DI SMA DHARMA PATRA PANGKALANBERANDAN

Abstract


ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' learning abilities by using the talking stick method in dance art appreciation learning at SMA Dharma Patra Pangkalan Berandan. The theory used in this study is the talking stick method by Miftahul Huda, the experimental method by Sugiyono, and learning theory by Agus Suprijono. The research method is quantitative with the type of quasi experiment one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 36 students of class X IPA 2. The instruments used in this study were observation guidelines, documentation guidelines, and tests. The results of the study show that the average pretest value of students is 56.80 and the average value of student posttest is 81.44. based on the results of data processing, the conclusions obtained are that there is a significant increase in students' learning abilities after the use of the talking stick method in students of class X IPA 2 at SMA Dharma Patra Pangkalan Berandan.

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode talking stick pada pembelajaran apresiasi seni tari di SMA Dharma Patra Pangkalan Berandan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode talking stick oleh Miftahul Huda, metode eksperimen oleh Sugiyono, serta teori belajar oleh Agus Suprijono. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi experiment one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian yaitu 36 siswa-siswi kelas X IPA 2. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pedoman observasi, pedoman dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest siswa sebesar 56.80% dan nilai rata-rata posttest siswa sebesar 81.44%. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data maka kesimpulan yang diperoleh bahwa terdapat kenaikan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan belajar siswa setelah digunakannya metode talkingstick pada siswa kelas X IPA 2 di SMA Dharma Patra Pangkalan Berandan.
