PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA YANG MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK (PMR) DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN BIASA DI KELAS VIII SMP TRI JAYA MEDAN T.P. 2014/2015

Abstract


This purpose of this study was to determine whether the achievement of students in mathematics taught by using realistic mathematics approach is higher than those taught by common learning in class VIII SMP Tri Jaya Medan 2014-2015 academic year .This study was a quasi-experiment research.The population of study is all eight grade students of SMP Tri Jaya consisting of four classes. The sample was VIII-A as an experimental class 1 and VIII-B as a class experiment 2. This research instrument in the form of multiple choice tests that are valid and reliable.The data analysis used is the statistical test t. In this study used test requirements ie normality test with Liliefors test and homogeneity with F test. The result of hypothesis obtained two samples of data posttes ttest = 2.128 and  with the testing criteria ttest >  ,so it was concluded that achievement of students in mathematics taught by using realistic mathematics approach is higher than those taught by common learning in VIII grade SMP Tri Jaya Medan 2014 -2015 academic year.
