Abstract

Gondang merupakan bagian dari kebudayaan musik suku Batak. Dalam upacara Mardebata pada sebagian masyarakat Batak gondang sabangunan dapat digunakan menjadi musik pengiring dalam upacara mardebata tersebut. Tulisan ini menjelaskan keberadaan gondang sabangunan dalam mengiringi upacara mardebata.
