PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER BERBANTU LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LANGSUNG PADA SMA NEGERI 7 MEDAN T.P 2012/2013

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantu LKS dengan model pembelajaran langsung pada materi pokok Optik Geometris. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Medan yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu Kelas X-3 dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT berbantu LKS dan kelas X-9 dengan menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda dengan 5 option  sebanyak 20 soal yang telah dinyatakan valid oleh para ahli dan instrumen. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 34,9 dan nilai rata-rata pretes kelas kontrol adalah 37,1. Setelah diberi perlakuan yang berbeda diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 73,2 dan kelas kontrol 66,8 dan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh t_hitung= 2,782>t_tabel =1,994 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 maka hipotesis altenatif (Ha) diterima dengan kata lain ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa  menggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantu LKS dengan model pembelajaran langsung pada materi pokok Optik Geometri di kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Medan T.P. 2012/2013.

ABSTRACT

This study was attempted to determine the differences of student learning outcomes treated by NHT cooperative learning model assisted by LKS with direct learning model in Geometric Optics. The study was quasi-experimental research with the entire population of grade X of students in SMA Negeri 7 Medan which consisted of 9 classes.Two classes were taken as the samples of this research by using cluster random sampling technique. They are class X-3 which was  treated  by using the NHT cooperative learning model assisted by LKS and class X-9 by using direct instruction. There were instrument that were used in this study, the first instrument was in form of multiple choice which consisted of 20 numbers with 5 options that have been declared valid by the experts. The average score of pre-test in experimental class was 34.9 and the average score of pre-test control class was 37.1. After treated differently, the average score of experimental class was 73.2 and 66.8 for control class. t-observed was 2.782 > t- table was 1.994 at the level of significant α = 0.05.Then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, there were significant difference of student learning outcomes used NHT cooperative learning model assisted by LKS with direct instructional model in Geometric Optics of class X SMA Negeri 7 Medan TP 2012/2013.
