DAMPAK PANDEMI COVID-19 TERHADAP PELAKSANAAN PROYEK EPC PLTM PARMONANGAN II – 2X5 MW TAPANULI UTARA
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on various aspects of human life, including the construction industry sector, both financially and on project operations. mobilization of workers to disruption of the supply chain of materials and equipment, including disruption of workers' health due to the transmission of the COVID-19 virus that occurred at or outside the project area. This study was developed from the experience of the author who was directly involved in managing the case study project discussed, which was further developed based on existing literature reviews. This study aims to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the implementation of the Parmonangan II MHPP – 2x5 MW Project. From the results of this study it is concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic conditions have resulted in an extension of the project implementation time due to the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions policies, regional determination red zones and lock down policies in several countries in the world, while cost overruns are caused by additional costs for labor, materials, equipment, overhead and provisions.
