CITATION MANAGEMENT :
ABSTRACT
Musculoskeletal disorders are one of the diseases that occur due to excessive muscle contraction due to giving a workload that is too heavy with a long duration of loading. On the other hand, muscle complaints do not occur when muscle contractions are only around 15-20% of maximum muscle strength. However, if the muscle contraction exceeds 20%, the blood circulation to the muscles is reduced so that the oxygen supply to the muscles decreases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between physical activity and musculoskeletal disorders in nurses at Sundari General Hospital Medan. Bivariate analysis test using Spearman Rho. Where the p-value is 0.003 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between physical activity and nurses' musculoskeletal disorders.
