Sebuah metode pengambil keputusan (SPK) dapat membantu proses pengambilan keputusan yang optimal yaitu Metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Abstratc--Teachers are educators and teachers who guide students in realizing disciplined classes and as motivators to build students' desire to learn and excel in class and outside the classroom. In addition to teaching in the classroom, a teacher is required to have characters like those in Tut Wuri Handayani. The assessment is carried out by measuring the work of each teacher in carrying out their duties and obligations according to existing competency standards. A decision-making method (DSS) can assist the optimal decision-making process, namely the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. This method was chosen because it is able to choose the best alternative from a number of existing alternatives. In determining the assessment of outstanding teachers, several criteria are needed to select outstanding teachers, namely: Pedagogic, personality, and professional. Obtaining the final result of the TOPSIS calculation becomes a decision for the assessment of outstanding teachers with the status: Always, Often, Sometimes, and Never. The assessment of the best achieving teacher is Irmawati. S.Pd with a score of 0.999 who became an outstanding teacher with the highest score at SMA N 1 Blangpegayon.References
