PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PERMAINAN MONOPOLI PADA MATERI KERAGAMAN BUDAYA INDONESIA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 124398 PEMATANGSIANTAR T.A 2023/2024
Abstract
The research aims to develop a monopoly game media on the topic of Indonesia's cultural diversity that is feasible, practical, and effective in improving the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade IV students at SD Negeri 124398 Pematangsiantar for the academic year 2023/2024. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development process follows the ADDIE model, which includes the steps of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The feasibility of the media is assessed from the aspects of content and media. The content assessment received a final score of 89.23%, categorized as "Very Feasible." The media expert validation results received a score of 93.33%, also categorized as "Very Feasible." The practicality of the monopoly game media received a score of 95%, making it "Very Practical" for use in classroom learning. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the media was evaluated through pretest and posttest analysis using N-gain, obtaining an N-gain score of 0.71 with an N-gain percentage of 71.06%, categorized as having a high gain normalization value with an effectiveness level of "Moderately Effective.".
