ANALISIS KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SD NEGERI 315 SIMPANG TALAP T. A. 2024/2025

Abstract


This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the learning difficulties of grade IV students reading comprehension in Indonesian language subjects at State Elementary School 315 Simpang Talap. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 25 fourth grade students. Data collection procedures used in this research are interview techniques, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that the factors causing learning difficulties of grade IV students at State Elementary School 315 Simpang Talap, are divided into two factors, the first of which comes from oneself (internal factors) which include learning attitudes, interests, learning motivation and health. While the second factor is factors from outside oneself (external) which include school, family and society. Based on these factors, the percentage that affects reading comprehension skills in grade IV students is from internal factors including student readiness and learning habits by 56%, aspects of motivation to take part in learning by 84%. In terms of aspects of interest in participating in learning 48%. Student health during the learning process is classified as good with a percentage of 76%. While from external factors, the percentage that affects reading comprehension ability is from the family by 56%, school by 56% and society by 52%. This means that the family, school including teachers and the community around students have an influence on the learning process and results.
