LOKAKARYA BAGI GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KAPABILITAS MEMUBLIKASIKAN ARTIKEL PADA OPEN JOURNAL SYSTEM

Abstract

inherent parts of the teaching profession.  PTK activities are an extraction of a teacher's professionalism in understanding science and the ability to provide solutions to the learning and learning process.  Meanwhile, publishing the results of PTK and other research is a form of accountability to the public and at the same time learning for other teachers.   This workshop was attended by 48 junior high school teachers in Rayon 07 Surabaya, of which 26% had published PTK results.   The current digital era demands publishing the results of PTK digitally or Open Journal System (OJS).  All participants have never published an article on OJS, although most (85%) have received information about OJS.  This service activity aims to provide practical knowledge about OJS and assist participants in publishing articles in OJS.  This service activity is expected to provide a practical understanding of OJS so that it can motivate teachers to publish articles in OJS.  This activity provides assistance until the article is submitted to OJS, but there are only 2 articles that are ready to enter the clinical publishing service.  However, it is hoped that this can motivate other participants. More intensive and structured technical guidance is recommended to be carried out if the teacher's capabilities in scientific papers and publications want to be significantly improved.
