Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Criteria for publication in Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan Sains  are novelty, quality and general interest in experimental and theoretical basic sciences. Articles are welcome that deal with theoretical analyses, meta-analysis reviews, and results of research or empirical studies from all aspects of mathematics education, chemistry education, physics education, and biology education. Reports on new methodologies and comprehensive assessments of existing ones, as well as applications to new types of problems are especially welcome. Experimental papers are expected to be brought into relation with theory, and theoretical papers should be connected to present or future experiments. Manuscripts that apply routine use or minor extensions or modifications of established and/or published experimental and theoretical methodologies are appropriate if they report novel results for an important problem of high interest and/or if they provide significant new insights.

Peer Review Process

Journal Pendidikan Matematika dan Sains (JPMS) is an electronic journal published by Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Medan State University. The research articles are submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers through double-blind review. The accepted research articles will be available online ang free download according to the journal peer-reviewing process. The accepted articles are based on the final decision of the reviewers' comments. Zero tollerance of plagiarism. Language used in this journal is English and Bahasa Indonesia.

All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. We are continuously working with our author communities to select the best choice of license options, currently being defined for this

 

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Penndidikan Matematika dan Sains terbit dua kali dalam setahun (bulan Juni dan Desember).

Archiving
