Language learning at the junior high school level emphasizes communication skills, both oral and written. One component of Indonesian language learning is writing advertisements, which remains challenging for students due to limited writing skills, inadequate teaching strategies, and low comprehension. This classroom action research aimed to improve students’ ability to write advertisements using caricature image media through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method among 26 students of class VIII D at SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan in the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through observation and tests. The results showed an increase in students’ average scores from 69.61 (pre-cycle) to 76.15 (cycle I) and 83.00 (cycle II), with all students achieving mastery (100%). These findings indicate that applying the PjBL method effectively enhances students’ advertisement writing skills.References
