PENGARUH PEMBERIAN VITAMIN E TERHADAP MALONDIALDEHID, HEMOGLOBIN DAN. V02MAX LATIHAN PADA ATLET SEPAKBOLA FIK UNIMED KADAR SE LAMA

Abstract


Aktivitas fisik berat maupun olahraga aerobik dapat meningkatkan
konsumsi oksigen dalam tubuh 10-20 kali dan 100-200 kali lipat pada otot.
Peningkatan penggunaan oksigen akibat peningkatan aktifitas dapat
meningkatkan produksi radikal yang dapat mempengaruhi performance atlet
diiandai dengan turunnya Hb dan V02ma.x serta peningkatan kadar MDA.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian vitamin
E terhadap kadar malondialdehid, hemoglobin dan V02 max selama menjalani
program latihan pada atlet sepakbola FIK UNIMED
Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimental semu
dengan rancangan penelitian Randomized Control Group Pretest-Postest DesignPenelitian dilaksanakan di Stadion Sepakbola, Laboratorium Fisiologi FIK
UNIMED. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan dengan populasi dan sampel
penelitian adalah seluruh atlet sepakbola UNIMED yang memenuhi kriteria.
Pada penelitian ini akan diukur kadar MDA, Hb dan V02max sebelum dan
sesudah mengkonsumsi Vitamin E selama menjalani program Iatihan.
Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa pemberian Vitamin E dengan dosis
400mg dapat menurunkan kadar MDA dan meningkatkan kadar Hb pada Atlet
Sepakbola FIK Unimed selama menjalani program Iatihan, semeniara itu
pengaruhnya terhadap V02ma.x tidak terbukti pada penelitian ini.
