PENGARUH EFIKASI DIRI DAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK TERHADAP KESIAPAN MENJADI GURU MAHASISWA STAMBUK 2016 PENDIDIKAN BISNIS FAKULTAS EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya efikasi diri yang  menjadi penyebab mahasiswa tidak siap menjadi seorang guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Efikasi Diri dan Prestasi Akademik terhadap Kesiapan Menjadi Guru Mahasiswa Stambuk 2016 Pendidikan Bisnis Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan di Jl. Williem Iskandar Pasar V Medan, Sumatera Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah expost facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 mahasiswa. Sampel sebanyak 96 mahasiswa diambil dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan angket. Sebelum digunakan angket diuji terlebih dahulu. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa angket tersebut valid dan reliabel. Kemudian data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh persamaan regresi Y™=41,102 + 0,242 X_1 + 0,205 X_2 + e bahwa baik secara parsial maupun simultan variabel bebas (Efikasi Diri dan Prestasi Akademik) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Kesiapan Menjadi Guru Mahasiswa Stambuk 2016 Pendidikan Bisnis Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Hal ini ditandai dengan dengan thitung > ttabel dimana hasil uji t pada variabel Efikasi Diri (X1)  sebesar 2,380 lebih besar dari  ttabel sebesar 1,665 dan pada variabel Prestasi Akademik (X2) diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 1,738 lebih besar dari  ttabel sebesar 1,665, dan hasil uji F menunjukkan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (5,843 > 3,09). Kata Kunci : Efikasi Diri, Prestasi Akademik dan Kesiapan Menjadi Guru
