PENGARUH UMR , KURS DAN PENDUDUK JIWA TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGANGGURAN SUMATERA UTARA PERIODE 2001-2017

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh upah minimum, penduduk jiwa dan kurs terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia pada periode 2001-2017. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian korelasi, sedangkan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data berganda. Obyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah provinsi Sumatera Utara di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketiga variabel tidak memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran.. Dengan kata lain, jika upah minimum regional nilainya naik, maka tidak akan menaikan jumlah tingkat pengangguran secara signifikan. Kurs memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran. Dengan kata lain, jika kurs nilainya naik, maka akan menurunkan jumlah tingkat pengangguran. Kata Kunci : Pengangguran, , Upah Minimum Regional, Nilai tukar
