DIE ÜBERSETZUNG DER VOLKSERZÄHLUNG “SIGALEGALE” VOM INDONESISCHEN INS DEUTSCHE

Abstract

       This study aim of translate the folk tale “Sigalegale”. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The dates of this study are the sentences in the folk tale “Sigalegale”. The data source is the book Meretas Budaya Masyarakat Batak Toba dalam Cerita Sigalegale by Munthe. The result of the study is the folk tale “Sigalegale” in German, translated with Idiomatic Translation. The process shows how the literal translation process is converted to idiomatic translation. Idiomatic translation is based more on the context of the source text. The folk tale “Sigalegale” is translated with simple past.

Das Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, die Volkserzählung “Sigalegale” zu  übersetzen. Diese Untersuchung benutzt eine deskriptive qualitative Methode. Die Daten dieser Untersuchung sind die Sätze in der Volkserzählung “Sigalegale”. Die Datenquelle ist das Buch Meretas Budaya Masyarakat Batak Toba dalam Cerita Sigalegale von Munthe. Das Übersetzungsergebnis der Untersuchung ist die Volkserzählung “Sigalegale” auf Deutsch, mit idiomatic translation übersetzt werden. Das Verfahren zeigt, wie das Verfahren der wortwörtlichen Übersetzen in das idiomatische Übersetzen umgewandelt wird. Das idiomatische Übersetzen richtet sich eher nach dem Kontext des Ausgangstext. Die Volkserzählung “Sigalegale” wird mit Präteritum übersetzt.
