Abstract

This research aims to create the interactive quiz for the grammar of the perfect tense with regular and irregular verbs at level A1 with the theme “Off to vacation”. The process of the interactive quiz for grammar A1 on the topic "Off to vacation consists of the explanations of the phases of Richey and Klein theory. These include: (1) planning, (2) creation, (3) evaluation. The data of this investigation are words, sentences, grammar, phrases about “off on vacation” and the exercises. The data sources in this study are based on the A1 level published in the book Studio Express A1. The dates used are the grammatical rules of Unit 9 "Let's go on vacation". The subject consists of perfect; regular and irregular verbs. There are also two books as supporting material, namely the book Practical German Grammar (2018) by Dias Khadijah, the book Grammar of the German Language (2004) by Ernest W.B. Hess-Liege. This research is carried out in the language laboratory in the Faculty of Language and Arts of the State University of Medan. The result of this creation study is an interactive quiz on the topic “Off to vacation. Once created, this interactive quiz is validated by a panel of material experts and media experts. Improved the interactive quiz for suggestions, comments from experts. The experts gave the category “good” to the interactive quiz.
