• Abstract The aim of this research is to develop one of the listening media at A1 level using Toontastic on the topic of ''Eating and Drinking''. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method and the research model used is the theory of Richey and Klein (Ana Widyastuti et al 2022:55-56). These include: (1) The planning, (2) The creation, (3) The evaluation. The data of this research are words, sentences, phrasa, idioms, and dialogues in the area of topic Food And Drink. The data sources in this investigation are based on the book Studio Express A1 (Her-mann Funk and Christina Kuhn 2017) and Themen Neu 1 (Hueber Max Verlag Gmbh & Co). The result of this research is an animation video on the topic of eating and drinking to improve the learning media in listening A1 with exercises. The animation video was created with the application Toontastic, has a duration of 5:16 minutes with the topic of Eating and Drinking and the sub-topics: a) What do you like to eat? and b) Lunch in the canteen. Keywords: the creation, listening media, level A1, Toontastic, on the topic of food and drink.
