Abstract

The aim of this study is to create the learning medium with the help of Zepeto on the subject of clothing and weather A1. This research was carried out in the foreign language laboratory at the Faculty of Languages and Arts of the State University of Medan. In this study, a creation study using the theory of Richey and Klein was used. Above are: (1) The planning phase, (2) The manufacturing phase, (3) The evaluation phase. The data of this research are the words, sentences, images and video on the topic "Kleidung und Wetter". Data sources of this research are the book Studio Express A1 (Funk, et al, 2017) pages 116 to 125. and from the book Netzwerk A1 (Dengler, et al, 2012) pages 110 to 119. The outcome of this research is the learning medium in the form of an 8-minute animated video containing material explanations on clothing types, weather information and colors, and there are 5 practice questions on clothing, weather and colors. This animated video was created with the Zepeto application. This video was validated by the media experts and the grade was 92 (very good).
