PERBEDAAN KEMAMPUAN PROBLEM SOLVING DAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIS SISWA ANTARA SISWA YANG DIBERI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GI DENGAN TIPE STAD DI SDN 112292 KUALABERINGIN
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the difference of problem solving ability and students' mathematical creative thinking between students who are given GI model With STAD model in SDN 112292 Kualaberingin. This research is a quasiexperiment conducted at SD Negeri 112292 Kualaberingin. The population of this research is all students of SD Negeri 112292 Kualaberingin and the research sample is the students of class IVA and IVB done by purposive sampling. Research data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic. The results showed that; (1) there is no significant difference in the ability of creative thinking between students who are given GI model with students who are given STAD model; (2) there was no significant difference in problem solving ability between students who were given GI model with students who were given STAD model; (3) there is no significant difference in the improvement of creative thinking ability of students who are given GI and STAD model. There was no significant difference in the improvement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities given the GI and STAD models; and (4) there is an average difference in student responses of 1.12.
