Systematic Literature Review: Tren Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam Pembelajaran Matematika untuk Meningkatkan Higher Order Thinking Skills

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan matematika era Society 5.0 menawarkan peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi kemandirian kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tren, platform, dan efektivitas AI dalam memfasilitasi Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Melalui metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), 12 artikel Scopus terpilih yang diterbitkan antara Januari 2020 hingga Februari 2026 dianalisis secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pergeseran tren dari sistem tutorial prosedural menuju penggunaan Generative AI (seperti ChatGPT, Gemini, Mistral, dan DeepSeek) serta sistem cerdas berbasis komputasi (seperti WolframAlpha dan Artificial Neural Networks) sebagai mitra kognitif. Integrasi berbagai platform tersebut terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan HOTS melalui scaffolding adaptif, visualisasi konsep abstrak melalui sinergi dengan GeoGebra, dan pemodelan masalah kompleks. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa efektivitas AI bergantung pada peran siswa sebagai evaluator kritis yang memverifikasi potensi kesalahan mesin. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa AI hanyalah alat bantu untuk memperkuat kapasitas intelektual, sementara keputusan akhir tetap didasarkan pada penalaran logis siswa.
