MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PRODUKTIF PEKERJAAN SOSIAL POKOK BAHASAN PENGUMPULAN DATA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE KERJA KELOMPOK DI KELAS X SMK NEGERI 9 MEDAN

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Research on interest in learning and the use of group work method in class X SMK State 9 Medan aims to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of group work methods to improve student interest in the subject of Productive Social Work subject of data collection. The method used in this study is  Research class act. Based on the subject of the subject of the subject of data collection. After the act or the first cycle found 17 students or 56,7% have been interesed to learn the material data collection, the found as many as 13 students or 43,3%, which is still less interest. Then after the action into two or cycle to two the number of students who are interesed in increasing that as many as 27 students, although there are 3 people who still lack interest. But in general, the observation of the researchers noticed that the student were interesed in participating in the subject matter. Sollution by the teacher using the method was successful group work to increase student interest.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian tentang minat belajar serta penggunaan metode kerja kelompok pada Siswa SMK Negeri 9 Medan bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan efisiensi metode kerja kelompok dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Produktif Pekerjaan Sosialpokok bahasan pengumpulan data. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ditemukan 26 siswa atau 86,7% siswa kurang berminat pada mata pelajaran pokok bahasan pengumpulan data. Setelah dilakukan tindakan atau siklus I ditemukan  17 siswa atau 56,7%  telah berminat untuk mempelajari materi pengumpulan data masih ditemukan sebagnyak 13 orang siswa 43,3% yang masih kurang peminatnya. Kemudian setelah dilakukantindakan ke II jumlah siswa yang berminat semakin meningkat yakni 27 Orang, malawaupun masih ada 3 orang yang masih kurang berminat. Namun secara umum hasil observasi peneliti melihat bahwa siswa telah berminat untuk mengikuti materi pelajaran tersebut. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh guru yakni dengan menggunakan metode kerja kelompok dapat dikatakan berhasil untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.
