Peer Review Process
Peer reviewers and the editorial board assess manuscripts to be published in the Genre Journal. The entire review process is carried out as a double-blind review. The Editor-in-Chief and editorial board handle all correspondence with authors and decide whether the paper is recommended for acceptance, rejection, or needs to be returned to the author for revision (reviewers' comments are also sent anonymously to the corresponding author to take necessary action and response).
The peer review process is carried out by internal journals (Editor in Chief and Editorial Board) and external journals (reviewers according to the field of science). The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board will evaluate manuscripts submitted at the prequalification stage for suitability for further review processes. Every submitted manuscript that passes this step will be checked to identify plagiarism before being reviewed further by the reviewer. Two qualified peer reviewers selected by the Editor-in-Chief or editorial board will evaluate manuscripts. Peer reviewers should check the manuscript and return it with their recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief as soon as possible (Genre Journal gives four weeks). The Editor-in-Chief decides whether to accept or reject the manuscript.
Manuscripts that require revision will be returned to the author, and the author must return the revised manuscript to the Editor-in-Chief via OJS Genre Journal. The Editor-in-Chief sends the revised manuscript to the Editorial Board to check whether the manuscript is revised according to the suggestions of the peer reviewers. The Editorial Board can recommend to the Editor-in-Chief that the manuscript be returned to the author, accepted, or rejected within two weeks. Finally, the decision to revise the manuscript will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting based on the reviewer's recommendations from several possibilities: rejected, requires major revisions, requires minor revisions, or accepted. The Editor-in-Chief will send an acceptance letter announcing the issue of publication accompanied by a reprint of the manuscript to the author.

Screening for Plagiarism
To check the possibility of plagiarism, the manuscript is submitted using the application Turnitin. The maximum similarity rate allowed in Genre Journal is 15%.
Proofreading
All manuscripts submitted and published in the Genre Journal must use good and correct American English. The editor will recommend to the author (article manuscript) what needs to be done for the editing process. Editing will use the official service recommended and in collaboration with the Genre Journal, namely Editage.
Reviewers Recommendation
Authors can recommend potential reviewers. Journal editors will check to make sure there are no conflicts of interest before contacting those reviewers, and will not consider those with competing interests. Reviewers are asked to declare any conflicts of interest. Authors can also enter the names of potential peer reviewers they wish to exclude from consideration in the peer review of their manuscript, during the initial submission progress. The editorial team will respect these requests so long as this does not interfere with the objective and thorough assessment of the submission.
